I was so pleased with my purchase from Tactile Turn that I contacted Will about making a limited edition Slider pen for the Shave Nook. Our pen will have a brass body and a Zirconium bolt and will be laser engraved and numbered. We have commissioned 50 pens and they will sell for $79.00.

Pictured is Billy's Copper Slider and Ravi's assortment of sliders to give you an idea of the style of the pen.

Awesome idea, Phil.  I just received my Slider yesterday and am using it at the office today.  Folks will love these pens and LE TSN one should be great!

Thank you Jim! I'll be using my pen at the shop today. I'm not normally a pen guy but, these pens are really cool.

Great idea Phil.  A cool pen, machined out of brass, and a chance to support TSN.

Bolt action pens... it speaks to the part of me that likes the steam punk aesthetics Biggrin

I'm usually not a pen guy either, but I'm seriously considering this one Tongue

Phil, I think the Zirconium bolt will be really cool and compliment the richness of the brass.  Can't wait to see it!

Until now, I had a limit of $6 for a pen and free was really good (like my red Bullgoose pen).  However, since I could be set for a while on brushes, razors, creams, blades, balms, etc., I might .......

It sounds like the pens will be here sooner than anticipated. I should have them by Tuesday.

How is the grip on these pens?  They look textured like they are grippy.  I have a similar pen from another maker and it's so slick it's hard to use the pen for long periods of time.

There is definitely a bit of texture; it is not slippery at all.

You need to have one of those old fashioned meet-ups like you used to have with Billy and a few other Austin area guys. You could see the pen in person. I was always envious of those early meet-ups; it looked like you had a great time.
