What blades does it use? My first thought was it would be a pain to have to unwrap the cardboard edge guard from 100 blades, but then realized there are already some that come in 10 packs without the cardboard guards. I can see the utility in a lab situation where you were going through many blades a day, not so much where you need one blade every ten days or so ..
If it does come loaded with shave-suitable blades, what is the additional cost for the dispenser, compared say to the assembly required Pella's?

I'd be very interested, depending on cost. I've seen a similar dispenser that was non-refillable, but I would want to be able to either refill it, or purchase a refill cartridge.
Now, I would REALLY love something like this for DE blades, (wrapped, of course) but I don't think such a thing exists.

There is a guy on Etsy that makes/sells them for DE blades. Can't think of his name right off. He 3D prints them.

Probably Frugal Shave. Pretty nice gravity-fed dispenser, but not pop-up style.

A quick search on Etsy for "3D razor blade dispenser" reveals that there seems just to be one guy, but making two styles (gravity feed, and spring feed)... neat, but not nearly as refined as the one Phil showed us in the first post
I strongly suspect that one must be meant for use in a lab - as far as I know the GEM blade is very popular in equipment used for preparing specimens, in particular the uncoated carbon steel GEm Scientific. Wonder if I can get some to try in my razors...

I don't think this dispenser would work with the GEM blades we buy from vendors; each blade is wrapped in cardboard. I suspect this dispenser is, as Hans stated, designed for lab use ie with unwrapped lab blades.

It would certainly be a lot of work to fill the dispenser.
