I am a big fan of the CRSW premium/select soap base. IMO the performance is top notch. I think the scents quality is also very good but I find the scent strength weak. For example, I would rate Tropicos as 3/10 in scent strength. I prefer strongly scented soaps (6-8/10). What are some of the stronger CRSW soaps in their premium/select line? Thanks.

Interesting question. I'd rate the following 6-7 on scent strength (and I like more robust offerings myself): citurus, limenthol, American barbershop, bergemont & bay, sandalwood, Puro fresco. If you're willing to venture outside the select line, honeywood Oliva is fantastic in performance, scent, & scent-strength.

I've never had a problem with scent strength in the CRSW soaps I've had. Citrus was plenty of scent. Citron has plenty, as well, probably about 7/10 or so. The Oliva I had was also fairly strongly scented.
None of these was overwhelming, mind you. I feel like the scent strength on all of these was just about perfect.

More often I'd prefer the maker toned down the scent. Let's keep shaving products for shaving and thus skin-friendly.
Agreed, this is why I prefer essential oil scents, smell amazing and natural when shaving but go away after the shave and let my cologne take over.
Although not out yet, I find Spiced Amber to have a stronger scent

I have been thinking about your post. What I find interesting is that none of the ones you mentioned were part of the original "Premium" line-up that used EO only. I wonder if this is a coincidence.

I don't think so, as I've had some in both original & select (citrus, & American barbershop). Couldn't detect a difference in scent strength. Really, these were just my favorites from CRSW, though all the scents I've tried have been 6 or above I'm strength. That said, I haven't used any of the new scents like tropicos - though I have re-purchased old favorites in the reformulation.
