These are very limited editions and I saw they were available last week, so I couldn't resist. I received it yesterday and used it today for the first time. I first gave it three long soaks in dish soap to defunk (although it wasn't bad at all), so when I used the brush, the bristles were very soft.
Even though titanium is not a heavy metal, the brush is quite a bit heavier than the usual brushes we are all used to that are turned from resin, plastic, etc. The handle shape is just sublime and fits perfectly in my hand. Possibly the best handle I have used as far as being comfortable in the hand.
This is a 24mm knot (they are also available in 27mm and 30mm versions). I felt the larger brushes might be too heavy with this handle. The knot was a good size for me.
This knot was softer than the Franklin I had (1st gen), and I think not as dense, and with not as much backbone. The Franklin had hooked tips. But it's only been one shave, so I will be interested to see how it matures and whether it develops hooked tips.
All in all, a beautiful and unique brush, and a nice addition to my brush lineup. Very different from any others I have.
