TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED!! 06/28/12
I'm on record here as a satisfied user of my two New Forest brushes.
I believe that if Simpson or Rooney or one of the other brush makers used these very knots in one of their brushes, nobody would notice the difference.
However, given the size of my brush rotation, I thought I wouldn't miss the brushes if I sent them out on a little tour so that other people could try them out without first investing in them.
So, line up for the the 'New Forest' pass-around.

Rules:
1) I'm thinking of limiting it to ConUS only (because of shipping), but this is negotiable.
2) Each guy can have the brush for a week (loosely).
3) You need to mail it to the next guy on the list - with a DC #, so we can keep track of where they are.
4) Each guy needs to post a review once he's done. Pics are good, but not essential.
5) I'll include some 'software' to start things off. Take what you want, but we'll go with a 'one out, one in' paradigm, so there's something for the next guy on the list.
6) IMPORTANT: We'll be sharing a brush here, so please clean it up carefully before sending it on to the next guy. You can use the instructions here: Brush Cleaning Instructions.
7) Let the brush dry for at least a day before packing it. Please pack them carefully.
Indicate your wish to participate by posting a reply with 'I'm in!' at the beginning of the post.
I'll probably limit the number of participants to 6-10 this time around. After all, I'll want the brushes back at some point.
Above all - we're all gentlemen here, so as long as we remember that we'll all have some fun with this.

I'm in. Good looking brushes. I do fancy larger brushes and exclusively bowl lather, so I would love to give the bigger of the two a test run. I wasn't sure if you were splitting these guys up or sending one at a time. I have some samples to contribute to the mix as well, so I won't leave the box dry.

Teiste -
Excellent! We have liftoff. 7 is enough to get this started. We'll go up to 10 this time around. Backups will be put in the queue, in case of any withdrawals.
I'll get this box put together and send it on its way. PM inbound to Morganjg.
--------
Also Teiste, I'll be away at the end of this month for a couple of weeks. Internet access will be limited, so if you're fine with keeping tabs on the pass-around, I'd appreciate it if you could take over during that time.

Okay, here's what's heading out to Morganjg:
![[Image: 100_2468.jpg]](http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm128/yohannrjm/100_2468.jpg)
The only items that are not for the taking are the two brushes and the G-type Schick. I want those three back.
I included the Schick for people who have not tried injectors. This is one of the more aggressive injectors. Oh! The Schick is sent with a blade in the razor (DO NOT USE this one). It's there to ease the insertion of a new blade.
![[Image: 100_2470.jpg]](http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm128/yohannrjm/100_2470.jpg)
Included are the following soaps and creams:
1) Mike's Rose and Cedarwood sample.
2) New LEA stick
3) New Kell's stick
4) KMF cream (used)
5) Dettol cream (used)
I was thinking that maybe we should cut the Mike's sample and the sticks into 4 pieces, so more people can try them.
What do you guys think?
The Mike's, Kell's and the KMF are excellent performers; I don't know about the other two.
There are a bunch of DE and SE blades. I would like to keep the Iridiums for use by people who've never tried one.
![[Image: 100_2472.jpg]](http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm128/yohannrjm/100_2472.jpg)
Also included are three SE razors for anyone who wants them. The 'bullet-tip' is in nice shape, but the ER 1912 and the Gem push-button are in beat-up shape (but are still usable).
The bullet-tip is medium aggressive. The 1912 is pretty mild, as is the push-button. These are for people who've been wanting to try SE razors.
![[Image: 100_2475.jpg]](http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm128/yohannrjm/100_2475.jpg)
------
These add up to more than 2 lbs, so I think a medium Flat Rate box is going to be the most economical way to ship them.
As I said, the only items I want back are the brushes and the G-Type Schick.
