Our machined aluminum SE1 (single edge) and DE (double edge) razors are now in stock and available for purchase and delivery. Sales have been very strong so don't wait long. With Fathers day coming up our supply will not last. So get them while you can. Back order purchases are being shipped now. Grab an aluminum Above the the Tie razor and enjoy the shaves.

Thanks. Back orders were dropped off at the PO last night.

I am please with the look. They have been well received, I wanted to add a little color to our razor line.
Our aluminum razors possess the same quality as our stainless (and coming soon Copper) razors. Many guys like lighter razors and the production process allows an attractive price.

I had the Calypso M1 and the build quality indeed surpassed other aluminum razors I had (one brand starts with an S, the other with an R) Wink

Stan, is the Aluminum SE1 available with the Calypso handle (instead of the bamboo)?

Yes it is. That is I have sent the photos to Matt. If they are not on the site now they will be very soon.  We are trying to provide variety.

Good luck with these Stan. I have one of your stainless models, an R2 plate and Atlas handle, and I can't think of anything that would improve that razor.

Stan,
First shave and it's a very good se. It's more aggressive than my hawk and I love the balance compared to the SS version. It doesn't seem as chunky and more monverable but that's bc of the weight. Very good and it will be staying in my collection.

Bo,
Great to hear.
I felt aluminum would be helpful concerning balance and maneuverability due to head size requirements to accommodate SE blades.
