SOLD !! Price lowered

Up for your consideration today is a Rockwell 6S razor system.  Handle, 3 plates, top cap, and storage tin.  This razor doesn't see much use in my den anymore as I've slowly shifted over to SE razors.

Retail: Current retail is $99.00.  I purchased at the original roll out price of $75.00
Selling Price: $70.00 including priority shipping CONUS.  Selling CONUS only.

Razor is in excellent condition, lightly used.  The handle has a machining line in one of the non-knurled portions which I've tried to capture in the photos.

Included with the sale are two tucks of Polsilver blades.  Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions!

I'm a recent Rockwell 6S convert. Gets my vote as the best razor available for the money...and this is a great price.

Is that a version 1 handle? I would expect the bead blasted finish on the version 2 would erase a line like that. Some people prefer the sharper knurling on the version 1 handles.

Hmmm...

Good question Puma.  I also have a V1.0...maybe the handle is from that set.  I'll take both sets out and compare.  Didn't realize the handles were treated differently between the two.  Thanks!

I have the tin can version of the 6S and yes the handle don't match the head finish, most likely they still were using the same manufacturer for the handles when they just released the MIM version. When they released the razors in the cardboard boxes the handle matched the finish

Yes, I just checked.  Both my Rockwell handles have the same machine finish.  Both came in tins.  Learn something new everyday!

That is interesting. You must have gotten your v2 right when they came out. Like bazemk said, they did eventually change the finish. https://rockwellrazors.com/blogs/journal...ockwell-6s  I am very tempted, but my RAD has been flaring up bad these days. Someone should snatch this up.

I actually think the machined finish looks better with it.

I've seen many people on forums say they prefer the version 1 handle because it has more aggressive, sharper, knurling. The bead blasting smoothed the grip out some on version 2 handles. Version 1 heads on the other hand could be a problem. For many the Rockwell offered here for sale is the perfect razor: a version 1 handle with version 2 heads.

I agree.  In fact, I bought the v1 handle to REPLACE my v2 handle.  Much better.
