Hi,

Some time ago I was watching a video on YouTube and a guy was using an old-fashioned ceramic crock, enamel or porcelain coated all-metal mug (probably enamel coated I'm guessing). I wouldn't mind finding something like this for a shaving mug myself. Does anyone else out there have one or know what I'm talking about? What exactly would something like this be called, so I could better search for one?

Thank you

Simply googling for "enamel shaving mug" brings up quite a few hits for me, old and new.

I know what you're talking about.  Probably not the best choice for a shaving mug, because the enamel can chip off from contact with the brush.  Also, I've found that most mugs are not ideal for lathering because they're too tall and not wide enough.  I suggest a shaving bowl.

I suggest Cappuccino Mugs, for this very reason.
