The SE-50N is still in production and had some issues with the actual magnets but it is still going to happen.

The problem with the magnets is that you don't really know how durable they will be through the years. But sure, they're innovative!

I thought they were experimenting with a special kind of stronger magnets that stay magnetic indefinitely.

So the one you have with no handle is the one that I have.
It uses 1/2 a DE blade and I love it.
