Seems to me there have been quite a few of these on B/S/T of late. Thought about picking one up but now have second thoughts.

This razor has gotten many good reviews, so I wouldn't automatically  draw an adverse inference from seeing a few on the BST.

Indeed...I just used mine today with great results.  It's probably the most "care free" razor I have.

Wild guess of 90% very happy, 8% happy, 2% unhappy, and thousands sold.  You are seeing the 2% of thousands plus probably some with other factors.  I am also guessing a very common razor for TSN members.

I don't have one, but I wouldn't read too much into it. I rarely see them come up for sale and the reviews are mostly positive.

It is an amazing razor. I use kai blades in plate six to shave my head. The result is up there with the best. The bang for the buck is ridiculous. Buy an used one. If you dont like it you can sure get your money back.

You see many for sale in the forum because for the price it is too good to be true. So, many people buy it in the middle of an acute case of acquisition disorder. Still, the razor is top shelf.

The overwhelming majority of 6 S owners give it rave reviews (myself included).  It doesn't sparkle like some of the highly polished stainless steel razors, but it shaves just as well or better than any of them.  Get one!  You will not be sorry.

+100%

6S is indeed a remarkable razor. I am usually using plates 3 and 4 and have always had great shaves with almost all kinds of blades, on par with my most preferred razors - BlackBird, Wolfman, and Paradigm.

I want one, and it will probably be one of those on the BST.
