Leavitt & Peirce in Harvard Square Cambridge, MA has been in business in the same location 130+ years (and they're renters!).

Not a mecca like Pasteur but a fine selection of colognes, soaps, blades, huge AS selection and razors. The real draw is their tobacco selection - pipes, cigars, hookah, etc. Along with a selection of nice gentlemen accessories - pens, pocket knives, cuff links and more.

Have you been here? Any treasured scores?

PS- bonus points for spying the Morris Code on their sign. [Image: 59a5e909cfc6fce97ddb5ec30fe7bfc6.jpg][Image: ebb6d72a9d59128425180d1dd654ffdd.jpg][Image: 89a05ab0902d18e942545ad600bdf5a0.jpg][Image: 8514cf88654860f85160d7129b2ad006.jpg][Image: 624e2da53187ed7f1e3047375671b237.jpg]

Looks like a great store.  I lived in Boston from 1974 to 1980, but did not know the store.  I'll have to check it out next time I visit there.

I haven't been in there in years but they have great products. I remember finding a barber-size tube of Vito's eucalyptus there. In comparison with Colonial Drug, which has since moved from Harvard Square, everyone was always down-to-earth and friendly. Colonial had a more extensive selection but didn't suffer fools.
