Gentlemen, the first run of Blackland Sabre razors shipped out Tuesday and will begin arriving to the new owners today (Thursday).  Currently there are pre-release threads on the Blackland Sabre in the Vendor News and in the SE Razors section.

I expect there will be a lot of pictures and reviews on this razor once guys begin to receive them.  Rather than have all these pictures and reviews scattered over the two existing threads or in new threads started by the owners, it will be more orderly if everything is all in one place.  This will be that one place.  Please post all pictures and reviews of your new Blackland Sabre here, rather than in one of the two existing threads or in a new thread.

Thanks.

I can't wait to read these reviews!

Btw, the very first review was done last night. You can find that in the visitors' posts section on our Facebook page if you're interested. Or maybe I'll post it here.

"Here we go first shave with Blackland Sabre SE razor.

Soap: L & L grooming Catalan's prairie
Brush: Paladin
Razor: blackland Sabre.

Arrived in a absolutely well packaged box.
The presentation tin box that holds the razor is the same that holds all blackbirds which in my opinion is superb. Some blades are included and that a plus since some people don't have those blades.

Machining quality is the same as any blackbird which is superb in my opinion it's not the same as wolfman or bbs1 but there is no waitlist for this razor either.
During the shave the handle absolutely did not at anytime felt slippery.
Now to the shave.
It's a very smooth razor you barely if any feel the blade. I have shaved a few times with a 1912 razor and to compare to that razor this razor just a ted milder. If 1912 aggressiveness is at 100% then sabre is approx at 80%. With 1912 I had to do 2 passes and a small clean up and I was bbs with Sabre it was the same 2 passes but slightly more clean up but none the less the end result was the same a nice smooth shave that produced zero irritation creepers weepers or any cuts.
Post shave.
Skin feels absolutely smooth. After shaving with 1912 I felt after shave if I hang around without putting any aftershave my skin would feel slightly rough. Right now I am sitting without any aftershave it's absolutely smooth like baby's ass.
In conclusion:
Shane you nailed it buddy absolutely outstanding razor. Between ordering and shipping and communications i am left in awwww.

JOB WELL DONE."

I love the way this razor looks and am interested in it but hesitant to add another blade type to the den.

Really need to get a Black Bird handle for my other razors.

This sounds to be as good as I'd hoped it would be- smooth and mild, yet efficient. Now I really can't wait!

People will post better pictures than the ones I can take, but I got mine today and it impressive - not surprisingly. It is lighter than I imagined it would be. Fit and finish are nice and I think I prefer the machined finish to the polished Blackbird I have. First shave will be tomorrow, but I have high hopes for it.

My Sabre arrived today and it's truly beautiful. The Sabre has really good weight to it and feels great in hand, I'll take her for a spin tomorrow morning. Great job, Shane!

I could not wait so I shaved at the shop. Very nice shave on the mild side of the continuum. Very intuitive angle.
