Man, that really is a beautiful razor!  I may have to pick an opportunity to get one.  Congrats to all buyers!

Congrats to all who got one. Shane - the razor looks truly amazing. Now I'm asking myself why I'm holding out for the polished. This is absolutely beautiful in machine finish!

Hats off to you Shane!

Wow, now this is one gorgeous piece of kit. Amazing feel in the hand. I can already tell that the Sabre will feel like an extension of my own hand while shaving. Tomorrow morning can't come soon enough.

Superb craftsmanship Shane!

No need to post any pics of mine. Everyone is capturing it beautifully. Got mine this afternoon and I'm salivating while waiting for morning to get here to shave with it. The razor has a great weight to it and even though I don't like shorter handles, this handle is very nice. So happy for you Shane!! Another home run with this one!! What's up next for you and Blackland?! You always have something up your sleeve!!

Next is getting more Sabres, updating packaging, and get the polished Sabres going.

Lookin' good guys! Can't wait to hear about the shaves.

Is the shaving angle the slope on the cap? So you just rest that slope on your face and good to go?

That works. You can also go a bit steeper. It's not super restrictive with regards to shaving angle.

I am sorry if this has been asked.

1.) Any plans to make one that accommodates artist club blades?
2.) Why the odd shape of the screw piece?  Why not a full screw?

1) Maybe.

2) The post shape is essential to the design. It inserts into the blade and allows the head to be centered over the handle and create a balanced razor. If I were to keep the full cylindrical post, it would have to sit behind the blade. Because GEM blades are so long it creates a very front-heavy razor. I find this approach simply unacceptable so the modification to the post was necessary to get the performance I expected from the Sabre.

Thank you!  I appreciate the quick answers.

It is a fantastic looking razor.  I want to say I love the look of the Blackbird Handle.

Preparing for my maiden voyage with the Sabre tomorrow morning. I had this handle custom made for the Sabre.[Image: c26ffcdbda7cd78417a4ce8c623ae99f.jpg][Image: dfe54bf18f46ffaeb8c46a6a7b9a99c1.jpg]
