After my wife did a couple cross stitch pieces for my walls - you can see those here

I said I was looking for something to put on one more wall.  So she did another one.

I made the frame and cut the mat and mounted it.  I found some maple with a little bit of character, and put a gloss finish on it.

About three days with glue curing and urethane drying time included.
