I have a friend who picked up a 4oz bottle of Creed Irish Tweed for $71.25 at a Seattle-area Walgreens. I'm not sure anyone can vouch for the authenticity of Creed scents purchased at Walgreens, but if you want to see the package on the shelf, check out the Pacific Northwest Wet Shavers forum on Facebook...

Whenever I see "fresh green," I immediately think "lime" or "clean vetiver"?

You can purchase GIT via Walgreens online. Usually these are "grey market" fragrances that get sold somewhere else and then re-sold outside of Creed's distribution channel in a country like the US. This is legal but it's a "grey market" because no one can really vouch for its authenticity. Also they may be older and less potent or not stored properly. It appears that these go through some Middle Eastern country because they usually have booklets and labels in Arabic.

These appear at places like Walgreens, Costco, etc. The only official US distributors I believe are Saks, Neimann Marcus, and Bloomingdales (I don't know about Nordstrom - they advertise an extensive selection and they don't appear to be a company that runs in the grey market but Creed doesn't list them as a US distributor.)

I've always understood that Creed that has Arabic writing is fake. Is that incorrect?

So many great suggestions already, of which I own the majority.

Here are some I don't believe have been mentioned. All are TOP fragrances in my mind.

If you like a creamy grassy scent try Carolina Herrera 212 (the original silver bottle)

You could also try Eau D'Italie Jardin du Poete, a wonderful green garden smell.

Also consider Hermés Un Jardin sur le toit - an amazing grassy green adventurous fragrance.

Finally if you can find this discontinued gem, blind buy it.
I own the 125 ml version. It's made by Francis Kurdijan. One of his best creations. Ever. For a freshie fragrance it's outstanding.
Miracle Homme L'Aquatonic by Lancome.
Green, grassy, aquatic and classy in one fragrance.

Forgot to mention Bond No. 9 Central Park. AWESOME green fragrance, lasts 10+ hours on me. Love it. Top class.

I'll take your word for it.  I've owned many Creeds, and the one time I didnt buy it from an authorized retailer I got a fake (bottle started peeling, etc).

I love this, too, but it has no staying power on me.  I still use it just because of the wonderful aroma.

Moisturize the area of your skin first, then apply the cologne.  Sometimes I add a drop or two (or spritz) of cologne to a dimes worth of Nivea for Men Sensitive after shave balm in the palm of my hand then apply and it seems to improve the longevity.  I put any remaining traces left on my hands to the inside elbow joints or breastplate area.  That Wild Fern is a little pricey (for me) so it's usually reserved for my own leisure time at home.  Cheers.

My skin does not tolerate most colognes and toilet waters, but among aftershaves, I have found Ralph Lauren Polo to be among the best of the green ones.
