Finally after many a month, the beautifully domed 27mm beehive from The Varlet. Hasn't touched water yet, looking forward to see the domed explosion.

I now have a Charcoal Goods hammered brass razor coming, with both Level 2 and Level 3 plates.  Both are probably too aggressive for me, but maybe I can trade the razor for one in Level 1.

That's a sight to behold!  Do they have the funf medallion in the bottom as well?

They do, Tom - exactly like the Butterscotch and Ivory (and now Black) versions.  My cell phone pic doesn't do it justice - the Tortoise resin is really handsome on this brush!

Very nice Billy.   I'm waiting for an ivory one.

Dmitri, she shaved like a dream this morning. I had a 5/8 that I didn't care for, both the size and the grind. This is a much larger razor and is substantially heavier, which I prefer, and with a hollow grind. You never quite know who made a particular Dubl Duck razor--my guess is that this one might have been made by Dovo. Max put a very nice edge on it, although I'm going to touch it up on my Jnats this evening.
