For those who don't know, Lee of Wet Shaving Products has been working on a shaving cream for the last year or so. He has perfected the formula and I think you will be really impressed with the performance. For the first shaving cream under the Asylum label, I decided to swing for the fences and release it with the highly regarded Royal Fougere scent.

We used large plastic tubs for the shaving cream so, you can easily load your brush directly from the tub and, you do not have to worry about dents.

Wow, a fantastic addition to the already stellar Asylum soap line!  And though all the scents are great, I'm glad you chose to launch with Royal Fougere, Phil.  Cool  Can't wait to pick some up soon!

Adding these creams to the Asylum line is a great move.  This scent has been so well received in the soap that I'm sure the cream will be a success.  The larger tubs are a huge plus in my mind.

What is the consistency of this cream?  Is it soft, like the British 3 T's, or is it a firmer croap?

Ricardo, I'm interested as well but then again, I'd probably buy it for its scent alone!

While I haven't tried Cella, I hear it's like Cella. Or butter, or Xpec. I have those two. Wink Unless you keep your house above 80 degrees in the summer, then it's more croap-y. It's a little temperature sensitive.

Nice, Lee!  I used Xpec today so I'm "just fine" with your description.  Thumbup

Thanks Lee. Biggrin  Yes, I would describe it as a firm cream leaning towards croap.

I've had the pleasure of shaving with the Asylum Royal Fougere a few times, and it is a very good performing and smelling soap. Very easy to lather-I'd describe it as a croap, so loading is super quick and easy. Nice, glossy lather, good glide, and a protective post-shave feel. The Fougere scent is easy to take: I'm not a big Fougere fan, but the scent of this one is very pleasant to me. I think Phil and Lee have created a winner with this one.
