My RigaRazor 9/8 + quarter hollow in  Tungsten Carbon steel and black micarta scales came in today, after giving the razor a thorough going over which included a very detailed visual inspection followed  by a customary strop on my Kanayama, all I can say is Sergej you are a true artisan your skill shines through even the edge is superb thank you very much.

Jaime, my friend,
The razor is majestic, and the blade formidable. I'm impressed. Good show on acquiring it. Please give a little background on the maker.

Obie he's a small time extremely talented custom maker from Riga of the Latvian capital, he usually makes 3 or 4 razors then he offers them for sale on Ebay he told me he hopes to have his own website up and running sometime during the autumn.

I'm just starting to get into straights. One of the main reasons is their beauty; the other is an appreciation for true craftsmanship, as I've been a machinist all my adult life. This one of yours is exceptional !!
Congratulations & enjoy!

Jaime,
I wish the razor maker from Riga the best of luck. His work is impressive, indeed. It's always good to see an artist working hard at his craft. Enjoy, my friend.

These razors have certainly been taking off, and it looks like, for good reason. Everyone that has one sings their praise. Yours is certainly a beauty. Congratulations.

The Tuxedo!!! Beautiful straight, Jamie! I've bid, but did not win, on several of his razors. He uses two types of steel: 1) Böhler R100 carbon steel for his less expensive razors and 2)  tungsten carbon steel for higher-end razors. How does yours shave?

James the edge feels so smooth and hat's off to Sergej I would say this is the first razor that I have not honed came with a fantastic edge.
