Just received my first tube of this AS with the TSN LE brush from Vintage Scent. I Have used it twice and I read everyone uses about a pea sized amount and then you can mix with your favorite AS for some great cooling. Problem is I have mixed it with Proraso and Baby Blue AS and haven't felt any noticeable cooling. The Proraso has some cooling to it but mixed with the 444 it didn't really seem to increase. Any ideas? Huh

I use it regularly but never mix, just apply your splash and follow with 444. There is, in fact, a very nice cooling effect.

....i use 444 with cologne........

.....it seems that mixing the cologne with 444 makes the cologne scent last longer...... or it might just be my imagination....

Hey, Pat.

I've posted here about the same thing happening to me. I get zero cooling effect. Some guys say their faces freeze off. Go fish.

You took the words out of my mouth. The only thing I think to myself when using 444 along with a splash, is that i feel like it's more moisturising/healing then just using a splash.

I don't notice much cooling with 444, either. It does combine well with my EdTs, so it's a great way to make an aftershave of whatever scent I like.

Minute cooling here as well, and I'm not sure using more would help. I ordered some menthol crystals today to start adding to my aftershaves.

Apparently it may differ between tubes. My first tube just went dry and I got a second with the TSN brush. The second one has a LOT more cooling power to it. Me gusta!

Tried using more and it did help but not the WOW I was expecting. And all that glycerin made my face kinda sticky.

I just add menthol crystals to splashes that don't have enough menthol.

I may try this. Thanks for the idea. I like menthol but with oily skin the glycerin in 444 or if a soap has a lot of it kind of compounds the oily skin issue. Leaves my face sticky feeling after use.
