I really dig the Timor Razor Blades.  I also, enjoy, from Gillette, the Silver Blue, Platinum, and, 7 O'Clock Super Stainless.  I also like the Astra Superior Stainless, but, cannot stand the Superior Platinum.  Or, really, any razor with a platinum coating.  What does this do?  Nothing, for me.

What are everyone's favourite smooth razor blades?

When I'm really trying to "feel out" a blade, with one razor or another, I always judge smoothness when I'm shaving the back of my head and when I'm making ATG passes on my jaw line.
Some blade and razor combos can glide across those areas with very little resistance...AKA smoothness.
My current favorite setup is my timeless scalloped head and baseplate .95 gap with a Dorco prime Platinum blade or a Gillette sharpedge yellow.
In my ATT H2 head it's a personna Israeli red or a Gillette Sputnik.
I can get really good shaves with alot of different blades but those mentioned give my the smoothest feeling, when shaving my rough areas.
The Dorco prime Platinum blades I probably would have never tried but whilst on vacation a Barbershop owner said " you should give these a try".
That was a few weeks ago and now they're in my first rotation.
Cheers

I just received my first POLSILVER Iridiums.......Now they are perhaps going to knock my #1 (kai) of the platform.

Prepare to have your expectations dashed. Polsilver SI is a fine, smooth blade, but the KAI will not yield its position lightly.

Smoothness quickly became my most important characteristic in a blade. After three passes the difference in sharpness in one blade over another  is pretty much gone, with some few exceptions.  Now I  know most people here are probably sick of hearing me go on and on about vintage blades so I'll  stick to what I remember about current models.
I found PSIs, GSBs, and the 7oclocks that came in the dark blue box to be among the smoothest along with the ones in the yellow box which I  gather is contrary to popular opinion. Oh yes, and Rapira Swedish Super Steels , I was greatly impressed with those. First blades that I  bought 100 of. And one notable cheap as hell blade that I could only find at Shoebox, the Lord Super Cools.

I'm currently using 7o clock sharpedge (yellow box). I have to say, this blade is the smoothest blade I've used.

I've tried probably 20 different brands, from Astras to Derbys, Personnas to various Gillettes, Merkurs to Voskhods.  I gave all a fair try - at least 5 blades each, well.... save for a couple that weren't worth risking a second shave.

I did note that some worked better than others in different razors.  I've purchased probably 15 different razors, including the 3 I've kept - my #1 (Mergress XL), my ATT, and my original Progress (backup to my Mergress)

Regardless, I always come back to Polsilvers.  For me, for my beard and skin they have proven themselves hands-down the smoothest, most comfortable blades of all.

Voskhods are really smooth for me. GSB's almost as smooth, but much sharper.

I agree, about the Rapria Swedish Super Steel razor blades.

My favourite blade, right now, is the Timor Razor Blade.  But, I only use them, in the mornings.  I use a variety, in the evenings, rotating, each day.

Gillette Silver Blues and Nacets. I also like Gillette 7 o'clock in the black box. I was very surprised by Crystals. I could not tell them apart from Personna Reds in feel and results. Like someone said above, it is sometimes dependent upon the razor, too. I have an Oristo. I can use almost any blades in that razor and they feel good. My Ikon Standard Head (B1) is a much different story. The Timeless .95 and ATT R2 are not quite as flexible as the Oristo, which is a milder razor, but they are pretty close. With those two I can use most of the blades I have on hand, but a couple are a little less comfortable.

IMHO that should be a very easy and decisive
Knock-out with Polsilvers being the new champion

I find the NOS blades (Gillette/Schick, anything that says 'platinum' or 'super silver') to be far smoother than the modern ones, and also longer lasting (staying sharper longer). For modern blades, I like the Gillette Platinum (Russia), but the Astra Superior Platinum have started growing on me. I think it's also very dependent on which razor you're using them in.
