I switch between the two now....
I have consistently the same results (DFS & BBS) with either. However the shave experience itself is very different.
Kai "sings" it's way through my beard and in general has a more aggressive feel to it.
POLSILVER just quietly and smoothly goes about it's business.

Ah, but there are at least three (maybe more) Russian Gillette Platinums (platina?): blue box, white box, and Rubie. Supposedly, they are three different blades.

Really though, it's probably best to use the plural noun, 'blades' after the proper noun.

Having said what I found to be the smoothest blades when I was still using current models, here is what I found to be the best period and what I use exclusively now: Personna 74's and Super Stainless bothe U>S>A and British versions, Wilkinson Light Brigades, Gillette Platinum Plus and "Spoilers" and Schick Plus Platinums, all NOS.
