I'm currently enjoying four Tobacco soaps:

Asylum Old Virginia
Paladin Tobacco Road
WSP Formula T Tobacco
JabonMan Tobacco

I only keep soaps I like a lot and use regularly.  All four of these have earned a spot in my rotation.  Of the four, the one with the purest tobacco scent is Asylum Old Virginia, followed by JabonMan.  The Asylum Old Virginia is the most authentic tobacco scent I have tried.  The Paladin and WSP are lovely scents, but sweeter and with the tobacco being less dominant.

Which tobacco soaps have you tried?

Ricardo, I'm familiar with cigarette and pipe tobacco products. Does the ASW smell anything like either of those?

Brad, it is a lovely scent, but the tobacco did not come through for me.  I thought the citrus note was dominant.  This may just reflect the limitations of my own sense of smell.  I'm glad you like it.  Larry does an amazing job with his scents.

I want to try both of the Mystic Water tobacco soaps - the Leather & Smoke, and the Sweet Briar Pipe Tobacco you mention.

Ricardo, they are both quite lovely, but the Sweet Briar might be a tad too sweet for you. However, the latter might suit you just fine.
I am, actually, surprised you have not tried them, already.   Wink

Good question Charlie.  The answer is a definite yes.  Some tobacco soaps can be so sweet that the tobacco note is lost.  The tobacco in Old Virginia comes through clear and strong, with just enough sweetness to soften it a bit.  However, it's not as sweet as a typical pipe tobacco.  It really is an exceptionally blended scent.
