For those of you with both blade gaps, which do you prefer for daily shaving?

I currently do a 3 pass shave with the 68 SB and now I'm wondering if I will get better, quicker results with 2 passes using the 95 gap.

No question. Go .95. I have both OC and scalloped SB, and I prefer the OC for quicker/better results. YMMV.

Absolutely go with the 95 gap. I bought both and returned the 68 gap after one shave. I found it impossible to get a clean shave with it, but the 95 makes it effortless.

I prefer two passes with the .95 over three passes with the .68.

.95 here. I sold .68 after 2 uses.

For those of you with the 95 gap, what baseplate and cap combination do you use?

I've used the OC and the scalloped SB. The smooth top cap, and the grooved. The top cap seems to me to be a matter of looks more than anything else. I don't think one performs better than the other. The OC is my preference, but I prefer aggressive to mild. Not that the scalloped SB is 'mild', but for me anyhow, I think the OC is a tad more aggressive. YMMV.

I've used both. I prefer the .95 now. Both are great shaves but the .95 is more efficient for sure.

I have a custom dual side .95 baseplate that Timeless made for me. It has the OC on one side and the SB on the other. I originally had the scalloped .95 baseplate but for some reason I wasn't feeling it so thats when I called Matt and we decided on the custom baseplate which I really like a whole lot for many reasons. One example is I can start a shave using the OC and then switch to the SB on the next or the last pass and I do use that option a lot.
