This morning I had a great shave. I made sure to get up in time to properly prep, then take my time shaving. As a result, my setup was perfect for a BBS.
After I shaved, I just knew that it was going to be a great day.
How do you know if it's going to be a great day? Does your shave affect the way you know it's going to be a great day?

Quite simply, it makes or breaks my day.

During the week, I get up very early so I'll have all the time I need for a great shave.  I don't like to rush it.  And, on weekends, I go all out—long hot towel treatments, carefully selected music, and much more lather than I require.  Love it!

I wouldn't say it makes or breaks my day, but a great shave does put me in the proper frame of mind to greet the day. I am certainly miles from where I was prior to wet shaving when I deplored shaving. Now I anticipate it each morning and value the ritual.

I look forward to my morning shave and reading shaving forums with coffee.  A good shave is a real positive.  A shave with nicks is nether a boost or downer.

Today, it was when I broke a personal best at the gym and bench pressed 265 lbs.

I was smiling like a fool for the next hour even though I am sore and stinky now.

I feel like that after finishing leg day.
