I think this kit is gorgeous.  But the price?  Ouch.

Not a chance from me. I own the original brass Hone and it's a great shaver but I would not pay 1k for a titanium razor with a small titanium brush that's synthetic!! C'mon!!

Did you miss the fact it comes with a two-tone hand made in England leather case besides the matching brush with 24mm synthetic knot?

The Paradigm Titanium razor is $395, and the Timeless Titanium razor is $225.  They're both superb, machined razors.  I have a difficult time seeing the value behind the Hone at $1,271, even if I consider that it comes with two handles and a synthetic brush.  The hype will continue as long as there are buyers going for it.

The razor cost $1300 dude... I bet RR can have the same combo for $200-$250...

I'm with you on that! The case, handles and brush don't come close to the value at that price.

I was going to post that as well. There is nothing to justify this high price tag if RR can manage to release a $100 titanium razor and still make a profit.

Do the rules allow a "pool" for when the Hone 15T sells out (or does not sell out).
Goes on sale 22/08/2017 at 12:00 (GMT +1).   Get your coffee and credit card ready.

For those who forgot to add the Hone 15t release date to you calendar, appears to have some still available.

FYI - the £980 price does include world-wide shipping.  You can thank me later.

On two seperate occasions I have owned the Hone bronze and tried to love it. No matter what I did, I just could not get a comfortable feeling shave from it. What I mean is the razor didn't glide across my face and always felt like there was some sort of resistance that I could not overcome. The end shave was nice but using it felt "weird".

With a price tag like that. . . .you'll be the only "kid" [sic] on the block with one.  And no competition with the Joneses.

Come on. . . .someone has to have DEEP pockets here.  Laughing1
