I like Gillette nacet, Gillette silver blue, Gillette Yellow, Polsilver, Permasharp, and Voskhod blades. I find Astra SP blades dull.

I found Gillette Silver Blue to be sharper when I tried them. Didn't like GSB so stayed with Astra SPs in my ATT.

I've shaved with every suggested blade so far listed, and with Astra Sps, Feathers, and Kais, and I find all of the blades mentioned to be great for me. We are not all playing with the same deck of cards whiskers and skin wise. So if those don't work for you I wouldn't know what to recommend. Best of luck finding the right one for you.

Try Personna labs and Polsilver. I also find the Astra SS to be sharper and smoother than SPs.

I agree, with the bolded. Also, the Polsilver, but, object to the Personnas.  Those are super-sharp, and, used in medical, and, industrial situations.

I will second Gillette Nacets. I went from using Astra SPs as my daily drivers to Gillette Nacets. They feel exactly as smooth and as comfortable, but I found they hold their edge for longer (they are good for 3-4 shaves, as opposed to 2-3 with Astra SPs) and I did find them a bit more efficient, but without sacrificing any of the smoothness.

In fact, I like Gillette Nacets so much that I bought 600 of them last week because I found them for a great price.

I haven't seen these mentioned yet, but I would say Gillette Platinum would work very well for you. Not only do I find them to be very sharp, but also one of the smoothest blades.

Gillette Yellow is sharper than the Astra by a fair margin but are smoother than Feather or Gillette Black blades. Gillette Silver Blue is, IMO, between Astra and Yellow.

I like Gillette Nacets.  Sharper and smoother than any blade I've used including Feather, GSB, any 7'oclock.
