Get a tub of Santa Maria Novella (v3), and a puck of Valobra.  Don't know if you can find somewhere to buy in Sicily.  My guess is the Valobra would be easier to find.  Or get Pannacrema Nuavia. Not sure if that one is less expensive in Italy, but worth checking into.

Thanks surfshaver and apogee. I have added these to my list.

Any aftershaves. I prefer no or low added alcohol.

Not shave related but you could look up my relatives on my grandfather's side. The Muscatos from Sant' Agata strewn across to countryside up to Torre Faro I think. My grandmother's people are directly across the water on the mainland, the Temperato's.

Contact Alessandro Pistoia, find him on the R&P group in facebook. He lives in Sicily and he is a wet shave fan and artisan

Just got back. After researching Alessandro Pistoia he appears to be in Palermo. Never got around to Palermo as Sicily is one big island. He does have a nice sight  http://www.pantareibrushes.com/ which sells custom ceramic bowl, brush handles and scuttles to name a few items.
I was only able to find a few items including Proraso bowl and post shave cream and Prep cream for 3.50euro each.

I would definitely go for a shave at a local barbershop.
I think that would be on my bucket list along with one in Turkey.
No way I'm going to Turkey with all the crazies out there now.
But still on the bucket list.
