Last sale, there were one or two brushes from the previous sale more than 2 weeks ago.  So for those that are in the US and want Paladin brushes, this is a great time to get one.

I for one really appreciate these offers. Due to many factors, I'm unlikely to win one in the release sale. I did score an unused one from a TSN Member and I love it. Now I feel that there's a real chance I can purchase another that suits my fancy if I'm just a little bit patient.
Thanx Ken!!

Got it. Makes sense. I view it as a good sign, when you eventually abandon the "fire sales" and get to a normal pattern of "brush on shelf" with ever changing designs, special runs, potential customs etc. We have seen a few artisans getting lost / overwhelmed  by initial demand putting them out of business eventually due to lack of responses and/or quality issues.

Paladin - and that praise goes to Ken & family - has done a remarkable job in providing high quality brushes in a reliable fashion. Truly moving from artisan/hobbyist to professional vendor!

So far I have only one of your brushes, Ken, but I am sure I will add another one eventually.

Continued good luck with your business!

Georg

I think the availability of in-stock brushes is a positive development in the evolution of Paladin Shaving.  It shows the company has refined its production methods, and allows for the orderly purchase of a brush without any hype.

For high quality products in high demand, there is no business model that makes everyone happy.  I do enjoy the excitement of "releases".   Having some in stock is always good.  The "team" concept at Paladin is best suited for batches of brushes.

Even after I win a Purple Haze brush in Ken's contest, there are still still some Paladin brushes I plan to own someday.

There are some new brushes in the shop: https://www.paladinshaving.com/collectio...s/in-stock

And no, we didn't give Jorge a heads-up. I really don't know how he does it.

I've been looking for descriptions of the various handle colors. Is there a link?

Thanks paladin for trying to keep up with demand and always having good communication.

Hope other vendors take note on how small business should be done!

+1. Thanks. Money is tight, but I know it is a matter of time until my resistance breaks down and I buy one.

I don't think we describe the colors/patterns anywhere. We just let those speak for themselves, same as knot shapes. But if you have any questions about particular materials, post them here and I'll try to answer them.

On the way. It was a tough choice between the Falstaff, the tortoise Sumo, the cobalt Tut, and the cobalt Cleo. I ended up looking at the knots and, in particular, the free loft. That narrowed it down to the Falstaff and Sumo. Then it became a preference on style. I liked both, so finally color broke the tie.
