Hi Everybody!

This morning I have bought one British Gillette Aristocrat, I hope receive next week, but I not sure what model it is. I think it could be #16 or #22
Can Someone help me?

I'm far from an expert, but going by the knurling, style of the handle, and what appears to be nickel plating I'd say it looks like a 'Rocket' to me. AFAIK British Aristocrats are rhodium plated.

That is correct. The razor seems to be a HD Rocket. Very nice razors btw. Some say the head is the same as the Aristocrat 22/66.
The box belongs to a different razor/set.

When I started collecting vintage razors, another Mr (Mr Razor) helped me with his informative site Wink

HD 500 (weight-depending), or "double Ring", not an Aristocrat. Either way, provides a very good quality shave, and is frequently favoured by wet shaving aficionados (including myself). Nickel plated. Some models are aluminium, but as I say, weighing the contraption will give you more accuracy regarding what the precise model is.

Yes, it is a kind of 'rocket', and the way you can tell is that there is a gap that opens up and closes at the base of the handle as you open and close the silo doors.

The case is a mis-match but they are also good to have. You might find the exact Aristocrat for the case some time, so it's good you have it. What colour is the case? Are there any outside markings on it? Also, the blade cartridge is well worth having, too. It's often hard to find the case with the blade cart Smile
