So I bought my first shaving soaps in several months.

3 backup pucks af AOS Tallow Sandalwood.

But, I ended up paying $80 for 3 pucks, because of tax, customs and fees and shipping from US.

So not that cheap a soap, when you live IN Europe - but still worth it.

As good as the also Valobra made C&S shaving soaps.

I love the sandalwood scent in it.

I'm leaing more and more towards the simpler scents in shaving soaps.

I don't like my shaving soaps to smell like my fragrances any longer.
Too much going on just under my nose.

Much more into simpler, cleaner uniform scents in my shaving soaps.
This sandalwood is very straight forward and a clean creamy sandalwood.

The performance is 9/10 or even better.
Almost perfect performance.

Can only recommend it highly.
It's only $33 in the US for 3 pucks.

I now have 6 backup pucks.
Probably have used my current puck for 10+ shaves and I'm a heavy loader, and I would say I still have 30-40 shaves left in the puck.

Agreed. Their sandalwood is highly enjoyable. I also enjoy simpler scents in soaps, and appreciate more complexity in the aftershaves or colognes.

Also agreed, but I stopped at 9. I also like AOS vintage lemon and lavender scents, but I only have a couple back ups for those as I don't use them as often. It's hard to find better soaps.

I think I have 7, 3 sandalwood, 2 lemon and 2 lavender. It's very good of course, but when I am in the mood for a lighter scent they're what I reach for a lot of the time.

Cheers, Steve

Much prefer the scent of the vintage SW to the current (P&G) one; the vintage is much closer to the real McCoy.

Search the worlds largest auction site. I wonder how many the seller has. They have been listed for eternity.

I found the sandlewood. Id rather have the lemon or lavender.

Thanks for the reply.

I've got ~15 of these squirreled away. If I could only have one soap for the rest of my life then it would be this. In the US there isn't a better soap for the price.

Same here.  Fabulous soap.  I've got at least a dozen pucks in storage.

Still have 5 pucks of the unscented stored away in my soap drawer. I try to finish 2 or 3 other unscented soaps before starting another AoS tallow. Yeah, I'm weird.

Too bad the seller does not sell to non-conus. I would have bought a few reserves as well..

One puck would probably see you through 6-8 months of daily shaving. For those of us that only shave 2-3 times a week, each puck is over 2-3 years worth of shaves!

I've seen these before (from this seller) but been hesitant.  Those that have bought them from him, safe to assume they are legit?

Assuming these are older pucks (since they dont make them anymore), have you found these to have lost a bit of their scent?

Yes the scents are there but light, I have sandalwood, lemon, and lavender. The sandalwoods on eBay are the real thing.

Cheers, Steve

They ship outside CONUS but only to specific countries I'm afraid.
