These are easily the most dense 3-band knots that i have encountered. In terms of 3-band hair, for me it would be old Rooney Heritage, Shavemac D01 3-band, and Simpson super.
That horn handle looks sharp!

I actually had in my possesion one of these fine, no not just fine but one of the greatest brush offerings ever. It was a Stubby size 3. The regular, base model single ring model. We were in a desperate financial situation as often happens when one is forced to make do on disability payments, and I  had to sell something that would be snapped up quick. That brush had to be it. Well they say a man that can't let go of his treasures in times of need is a slave to them but I tell you if I  wasn't a family man I  would have kept it and rolled the dice. I take some comfort in knowing the guy who bought it here actually lives just down the road.

Well, sometimes the world throws something good at you instead of the usual bad. Days after posting my sad little story about having to let go of my favorite, at least on of my favorite, brushes I am blessed with another Stubby. This time a "1" instead of a "3" but a three ring model instead of a single ring. The "3" was nice in that it gave me the option of either bowl or face lathering,( the three ring "1" is about the same knot size but dimensions and proportions of the handle along with the loft on the knot make this one a dedicated face latherer) but given the circumstances of cost and the opportunity to own one again I love it. Photos to follow when I figure out what the updates did to my One Drive.

I agree!
