For DE Razors:- Gillette Nacet

For SE Razors:- Schick Proline P-30

Sometimes is hard to stick with these blades depending on my mood of shaving.

Gillette Platinum, period!

Surprised the Gem PTFE didn't win your heart! It definitely won the battle for the closest and least irritating shave!

I reserve the right to change my opinion again!!! Smile

But as of right now, my one problem with the Gem PTFE is that it's not actually 100% comfortable for me until shave 3 or so, and then is comfortable for the next 7-8 shaves.

(And, in reality if I'm being totally fair, I probably should not be judging the Gem PTFE against the others, since I probably have only used 3 of them.)

Personna Blue. Not even the med prep version, just the regular cheapies. Best combo of smooth and sharp for DEs in my book.

Schick Proline "B" is for injectors, "P" is for AC razors. The numbers are the amount of blades in the cartridge.

The Schick Proline P-20 and P-30 are the same blade.

My beloved Derby Extra (pre 2016).   I remove the blade from the razor after each shave and dry it on a towel by lightly stropping.  After the first shave it seems as though the coatings break in.   On subsequent shaves the razors feels like there isn't even a blade in it and rides along smooth as silk and performs beautifully for me.

Mine would probably be the Personna Israel Red. It isn't the sharpest in the shed, but it is one of the smoothest and it is more versatile - all three of my handles do well with it.
