As a face latherer, I only have a few, both chubby 2's. Any bigger and it's just a bit too much to handle on my face.

I own 10 brushes; One has a 26mm knot and the rest are 28 - 31mm. The largest is my 31mm Kent BLK12. Large brushes feel especially luxurious on my face.

I have one custom larger than that. It's great for lathering my head for the head shaves!

I have a Rooney 2XL and love it, it's a 28mm knot. Great for bowl lathering.

Wow, it only hit me just now, after reading that, that my 2XL is extremely large.... Blush

Does this one qualify?

No, I don't own this one, but I do think it is on record as the worlds largest badger brush.

It sure is. I'm glad I didn't opt for a 3XL!

Lathering of course!

(Although I have 2 giant Rooney brushes that are just for show)

The 36mm M&F or "Monstrous and Fearsome"
The knot on this M&F is as wide as Wee Scot's loft is high and about 5mm wider than the height of the Wee Scot handle.

And just a few more of my large (and IMO entirely useable) brushes...

[attachment=5432]
Simpsons PL14
Handle height: 83mm
Knot width: 32mm
Knot height: 58mm
Total height: 141mm

The Samson

[attachment=5437]
Pre 2005 Shavemac

[attachment=5438]
Plisson Plexi

And then there is TOO BIG even for me to consider using...

thats kind of convienant, just lather it up and smash your face right on top for every pass... i bet that would take a whole tube of proraso to lather, but it would hold for days
