What is your preferred knot size? Which knot size dominates your shave nook?

I'm going to allow multiple votes because people have multiple brushes.

Hmm, multiple votes isn't working...

I went with 20-21.5 but I also prefer shorter lofts with my brushes rather than the actual knot size.

I prefer a knot of about 23-24mm. That seems perfect for me.

I'm a 18-24 man. Quite a broad range but I wouldn't be without any of my brushes in this size range.

I prefer knots in the 20-23mm range for badger and boar.

For a horse hair brush I'll go with 22-25mm.

In my experience the Horse hair brushes don't bloom as much as badger.

I like bigger brushes, 30mm. However, I am starting to appreciate brushes in the 22-24mm range a lot more.

Generally upwards of 24mm. I'm comfortable with 30mm and bigger, but recently I've been picking up my smaller brushes...

The width of the knot is one measure, but I find the length of the knot to be of equal importance. I prefer brushes with hair/fiber no longer the 50 mm above the handle. I have a very good brush that builds a great lather, but is 60 mm and I find it hard to face lather with it or apply soap around my mouth. Shorter is better Biggrin.

I voted 26mm-27.5mm

I've found that between 25mm-28mm I'm happy with. Badger hair around that knot size has a nice feel and coverage. I've never tried a boar that large though.

Same here. I also like the shorter (46~48mm) loft.

Yep, I face lather.
