Gentlemen,

I've seen two ingredient lists for D. R. Harris Pink aftershave listed on various sites, and wondered if it was reformulated and when. There are some posts here and there that do not agree with respect to the ingredient list. I have a bottle but not the box with the ingredient listing, purchased in 2014 I believe.

Many thanks, Steve

They removed the Cetrimonium Bromide (a conditioner and antiseptic);
I’ve seen a 2007 post (elsewhere) listing this ingredient.

I’ve used both iterations. Both great, but I’d give the nod to the older one; slightly better in scent, and performance, ime.

Btb, all their splashes are top-notch (imo); especially the Sandalwood, and Bay Rum.

EDIT: I don't know exactly when the Pink splash without the CB debuted, but I purchased it in February, 2016.

I use these DR Harris AS splashes:

Pink
Sandalwood
Windsor
Arlington
Bay Rum

They are all excellent, as Ask4edge says.

They will always be a staple in my after shave collection.

Only problem is that I use a fragrance daily, and these DR Harris after shaves are pretty long lasting (3-4 hours longevity, some even last longer) , so they often clash with my fragrance of the day, unless I try to coordinate them precisely.

I haven't felt any difference in the Pink AS I have used, and I have been going through 3 bottles of that stuff since 2011.
It's an excellent mild rosewater, that actually lasts quite a bit on my skin, 3-4 hours, but a very mild rosewater scent. Excellent, even for guys that don't appreciate rose that much (for instance me, I only own maximum 6-8 fragrances, that have the note of rose in them and that isn't that much since I'm a frag head with 500-600 fragrances in my collection)

Thank you Claus!

If you're going through 3 bottles a year you must like it.

Cheers, Steve

You're welcome.

And it's 3 bottles since 2011, as I wrote
