When I first saw the auction, what drew me to it was the condition of the handle. It looks almost new.
The had was rather tarnished, but it cleaned up in no time.

This one has 3 patent dates stamped:
DEC 27 98
SEP 15 03
JAN 19 04

The blade stops are for wedge blades, not modern, but the clamps and lock spring actually held a modern GEM blade just fine.
The shave was not mild and not aggressive, but it is a bit bulky and it was hard to judge where the blade actually was.
A bit of time travel to round of the passing (Jewish) year.

I have the one in Hans' link and it is definitely different than Galhatz'.
Maybe here (under SE razors) you can find something that will help you date that beautiful razor of yours.

I have an '07 and it is quite different.
I wonder if the Waits Razor Compendium has anything about it.
It is not a common razor, but I now see that another copy is available on ebay.
