I continue to make excellent finds in the wild.

Yesterday: the Gillette 1948 closed-comb Aristocrat, "Australian Set" #15 (same as the #21); the razor lightly peppered with spotting all over the Rhodium plating, but still, in excellent working order and case in good-ish condition. The blade case was missing, but I has one in a battered old case, so I simply put it inside this case and BINGO. Not bad for something going on 70 years old.[Image: UHCrNuY.jpg]

In US dollars? Shall I tell you? Ok. $12. Yep.

Another one?! You've been lucky, very lucky. Looks very nice. A bummer the finish is not that great but hey, $15 ...

Lucky? Yes, but vigilant.

Here is my collection of Aristocrats (a couple of others not in cases somewhere else):

Which are the #16s, if any?

There are two #16s. There is one on the middle far left, in a squarish black case, white plastic blade case inside. That particular one is in almost mint condition, too.

The other is there somewhere, but hard to point it out to you.

Great find! I am still on the hunt for something rare from the wild, it's still fun hunting even when I come up empty handed.
