Traveling this week in NOLA and stumbled in a cool shaving/Barbara shop in the Garden District. Tons of soaps, creams, AS, all high end.

I picked up a small tube of St James of London, the Clarysage scent. I'd read it was too notch.

Easily whipped up a snurdle, too much, in fact. It was quite foamy, used a synthetic brush.

I tried to work it, added some water. Went through my 3 pass routine. Parker Variant, Wizamet PolSilver.

Didn't seem slick and protective, but in the end a great close shave and great post feel.

Once I get home, I'll attempt to dial it in.

Great cream! Right up there with Baume.Be.

A very nice cream. Fine performance and a scent very close to Terre d'Hermès.
Original Td'H cream is out of production for many years (has a slightly more complex scent and even better performance), St.James Clarysage and Cedarwood is a nice substitute.

This cream works great for me. I am surprised that there isn't more buzz about it.

I have the Sandalwood and Bergamot and really like it.  I will agree the slickness isn't the best, but the shave feels good and the post shave feel is fantastic.  I quite enjoy the scent.

Ditto. I really love the cedarwood & clarysage fragrance too.
