I have all of those except the Paradigms . I am no longer pressed about getting the Paradigm 17-4 after having the Karve F plate. I have put the Karve above all of my DE razors after getting the E and F plate about a month ago. I will probably get the next stainless version of the Paradigm when it gets released but I will not try to get a 17-4 anymore. I know everyone loves it but I absolutely LOVE the Karve.

I look forward to hear how you like it compared to the Paradigms. It’s one of only a couple razors that I can use a fresh Feather blade with and not get any nicks or weepers and have the closest BBS that I have ever had. Try the F plate first if you want the best.

I have never used straights but I think I own or have owned just about all of the modern DE, SE and Gem razors available today. The only one I have never laid my hands is a BBS-1.

I had 2 BBS ones those and Wolfman are probably the best made razors but for me they do not shave me the best and I sold them all. For me I found the BBS one was very smooth but was not as efficient as some of my other razors. Plus the price of those are ridiculous today. If I can ask you what are your favorite razors whether it's de se or gem
