my guess is that feather blade come in this order.
-Pro guard
-Pro Light
-Professional
-Pro super

but how is the kai blades, captain, titan mild and protouch.

Only my experience: any guard blades and light blades I dislike, just can't get the same quality shave from them.

Best for me are the Feather pro and super pro and the kai mild and dorco supers. But that's only my experience (I also didn't like the SS models, prefer the DX).

I like the Feather Pro the best. I think that is a good place to start.

I prefer the extra rigidity of the Feather ProGuard over the Feather Pros, but your mileage may vary.  Kai Captain, and Kai Sharps are my other too favorites - did not like the Titan Milds at all (too dull IMO).

I use either the feather pro guard or the kai mild.  I couldn't get on with the pros, but that may be due to inexperience.  I really enjoy the pro guards and wish I had started with those.

Kai Milds are sharper and smoother than the rest, in my experience.

This SE game is to complicated, wished I had read up before the leap...LOL. I am using the Schick in the MR SE and find my face a bit warm, not so much burn but not as comfortable as I would like. The results as far as BBS is good just not a comfortable shave ...Yet. I am playing around with handles, now using the Atlas handle. I think the KIA will work a bit better for me.

I found the Kai mild to be the most comfortable.  I only have a couple shaves with the proline so jury is still out.

Also, I found the feather guard to be very smooth and comfortable, maybe even a bit more efficient than the Kai, but at the very least neck and neck.

Shallow as possible is best and a light touch. If you are coming from DE razors, you're probably using too much pressure and too steep an angle!

Schick Proline's are the best!

Thanks, that was the problem. I need to get a sample pack of blades and get more familiar with the SE. I really like how it shaves the problem areas. Seems like I can get better results with less problems compared to the DE.
