I found this a couple weeks ago at an antique mall and bought it because I liked the look and figured, "Why not?" But I'm not sure what I have here.

It's a Gillette, obviously, and a travel razor. The stamps on the head correspond to manufacture in the first quarter of 1965. But I haven't come across anything online that resembles the case, which seems to be brass.

Does anyone recognize this or have information that can fill in the gaps?

It almost looks like someone glued a "Razor and Blades" label over the top of the case. It looks like a typical travel tech case to me

Ok. Thanks, good to know. I bought it because of the overall look of the set (pretty good condition), and as a side bonus my kids think it's cool. Haven't used the razor yet, but I'm planning on having it as my go-to travel set.

My Travel Tech set came in the same case but it had a mirror installed.
It was labeled "Razor 'N Blades" just like that!

It was a NOS set but I thought someone had personalized it.
The seller told me that it had been given to him when he was a boy by a relative and I figured the relative personalized it.

I guess not! Maybe Gillette was labeling these cases like this.
Anyone else get similar???

Sounds like we have the same set. There's a mirror in the lid of this one, though it's hard to see.

Wonder how many were made.
