My Semogue aren't alone.

Here in Portugal we have a saying:
Fast is the enemy of perfection.

As long as the brush comes good it does matter.

I would still like to have this year.
because my baby is born this year.[Image: 9647f575748cf9347e8924a5fa1fffa4.jpg]

Very nice collection. I never considered purchasing a Semogue owed to the metal ring at the base of the knot/handle intersection, but after getting one, I was sold. I actually like the metal ring now.

Is better in metal then plastic.

All my Semogue's are in metal.[Image: a916a219c56f35ba2217c50f740a57a4.jpg][Image: c0b7e8db8a74ca1ab4d8614a60f87651.jpg]

That’s certainly a handsome brush. I need that in my life.

Thanks for posting these pictures.  They are very enlightening as I thought the metal ring was just that, a metal ring to hold the knot together.  It seems the metal lines the interior of the knot hole, which makes good sense if the handle is wood or horn thus protecting it from water penetration.  I have a Semogue 3-band silvertip and an SOC boar, both with cherry handles and I'd like to  add one of Phil's.
