It is getting close. I should receive the prototype this week or next. The production brushes should follow a few weeks after that.

I am very happy with how it progressed and am looking forward to the shipment.

Very interesting!

Will there be enough to go around?

Can we receive an email when available to order?

Watch this thread and subscribe to BG email would be a good way to stay informed.

What is "BG email"?

BullGoose. Go to the bottom of the home page and there is a spot to signup for the newsletter.

Probably not -there will be 100 total. I would rather have too few than too many.  There will be enough that they will not sell out immediately but not enough that you can lollygag. If you snooze, you may lose.

Yes, they will be numbered from 1 to 100 and they should have moderate backbone and soft tips. I hope to have them sometime in November.

Beautiful brush, Phil. Any idea on potential price range?

Thank you. They will be priced somewhere in the neighborhood of $130.00

Thanks for the info. I could not find a direct link to sign up for the newsletter but I sent BullGoose an email requesting it.

Phil, that’s great. I’m looking forward to it. I currently have a Semogue regular 3-band silvertip and a 2-band silvertip, which are terrific brushes. Can you tell us how the knot of TSN LE brush will compare with those two knots?

Phil, I would be curious if the knot has a glue bump or if it has close to complete free loft on the prototype you receive.

I well imagine it will. I can't think of any Semogue brush that hasn't had the glue bump in it. I'd be amazed if it didn't, so definitely a good question to ask!

But you'd be wrong. Smile Some of the more recent releases like the ForoAfeitado do not have the glue bump, or at least have a much less pronounced one.

In my opinion, I would disagree. There is a minimal difference in my ForoAfeitado glue bump, but still quite present. This doesn't bother me personally as for whatever reason the glue bump works for Semogue brushes. For curiosity sake it would be fun to experience a Semogue without the glue bump, though.

Just an FYI but, we have a batch of the TSN LE brushes coming in with boar knots. I hope to have them in a few weeks.

My brush has no discernible glue bump.

Glad to hear that. I personally can't vouch for any that don't have a bump out of a number I've had. I think it's approaching 2 dozen now. I think I said it before, but the bump isn't a bad thing. I sort of expect the bump to be there, and I imagine I would be disappointed if I had one that didn't for some reason. All the same, I'd still be pleased just to see an anomaly if that makes any sense.  Confused
