How about a limited run boar brush.  Along the lines of the Semogue 2013 Barbear Classico or Cerda - Premium 90% tops, 22mm or 23mm knot set at 50mm.

I'm not a boar person, but a friend recently let me borrow his Semogue 2013 Barbear Classico.  I didn't want to give it back.  lol

+1 I think a similiar style brush in ebony wood would be classy.

I think a Semogue LE boar brush would be well received.  I found the handle and knot on the Barbear Classico Cerda were too small, and would prefer a handle and knot comparable to the SOC.  No fake band please.

I think that some one of a kind wood or stone brushes (like elite razor) would be awesome.  Also I agree with artisan soap (not just shaving, but bath and shampoo) vendors.  But I am biased as well.

I like the look of the resin burl stock , an LE brush using this would be very nice.

Here's another idea, Phil. A high quality, (i.e., barber quality) electric clipper for use around and on the earlobes. Plug in or battery, but AC is probably better don't you think so? Years ago my barber started trimming my earlobes when cutting my hair, and it just keeps growing back! If only it worked that way on my scalp Tongue. Now if I go more than every other shave without trimming there I look like the Lon Chaney, Jr. I'm tired of nicking myself. Even if it happens only once every other month, it's really annoying.

Simpson stopped supplying vendors with two band brushes years ago. It has been at least 5 years. If they become available, I am all ears.

I was hoping that Simpsons would open things up a bit after the recent post on social media of a 2-band. I chatted via email with Mark who confirmed that he is selling 2-bands direct on a LE basis, though I acknowledge that is very different vs. offering them to vendors.

The Simpson 2-band brushes are great brushes and, they used to be excellent sellers. If he makes them available to vendors, I would definitely be interested.
