Nice.

30 pack will last a long time huh? I'm guessing 10 shaves each blade. Give or take.

Loved the knot, hated the small handle. A SOC handle may be too big. How about a 1305 sized handle?

Ron can you provide some details about this, if you’ve used it.  Visually alone it looks good.. scent and so on?
Yes....this aftershave is really made in an Italian monastery. They also make grooming products such as soaps, lotions and ancient tonics.

This aftershave is really a classic alcohol based Italian aftershave. It has a light menthol kick. What makes it special to me is that it has a very unique scent. It opens with a fresh green melon, and then develops a mix of floral, herbs and light powder/musk. It is a very crisp, clean scent and is the most “natural” smelling fragrance I’ve tried.

It also lasts longer than most aftershave scents. Lasting several hours on me... it’s more like an EDC.  It is said to be made from local ingredients (flowers & herbs) found on the grounds of the monastery, said to have antiseptic properties. It’s also relatively inexpensive. About $20 a bottle.

That description sold me.

That would be nice and is something that I contemplated. It is definitely a possibility for the future.

I'm not a boar person, but a friend recently let me borrow his Semogue 2013 Barbear Classico.  I didn't want to give it back.  lol

I may have Semogue do a boar LE with the same handle that we are using for the TSN Semogue badger brush.

I am also working with Thater on a series of boar brushes. Check these bad boys out.

Thank you Todd. The tortoise beehive will actually have a banded boar knot while all the others will have natural white boar (as shown).

Haslingers soap at even close to competitive with EU cost delivered to my door, ~$6 - $6.50 per puck.

Asylum brushes in the affordable synthetic realm or on sale once in a while.  Does inventory move at all at $55 plus shipping?

There was a sale on the orange handled beauty some time ago. I thought about it too long and when I'd decided to place my order the sale had ended. Fortunately, Phil does offer frequent product sales and coupon codes that can generally be applied to most BullGoose items. Just don't wait too long; you snooze, you lose Wink

Can't do it...these are not cheap Chinese synthetics. The handles are heavy duty resin that are turned in Spain and the knots are hand tied in Spain.  In other words, they are expensive to produce.

I believe Lucky Scent carries the Caraceni line.  Or at least they carried the fragrance, and the cream is no longer available according to internet rumors.

I need to place another ABC order soon and will check out the fragrances. It is a possibility.

I need to research caraceni and see if they will consider a US retailer.

I have the BG7 and the handle is really nice.  I also like the hand tied knots because they seem to dry faster, which is a plus when traveling.  I would also rather pay more for a hand tied knot produced in Spain than a glued knot produced in China.  I just wish the loft was a little be longer because it seems a little springy with the shorter loft.
