So I just ordered a tin of Mike’s Peppermint & Rosemary and I am just amazed at how great his Soap is. The lather is creamy, easy to produce and very slick and protective. Post shave moisturizing is top notch as well.

I guess for me Mike’s was one of those artisans I loved when he first launched and I had forgotten about his soaps. I won’t forget again. Smile

For me Mike’s and Mystic Waters are hands down the best shaving soaps around.

Mike's has been producing excellent soaps since well before we had the soap fads and soap hype.

I’ll pile on. Mike’s is probably my favorite soap. His lavender is my favorite, and I’m working my way through a puck of his Vetiver now as my “fall” soap.

The Lavender and Vetiver are both excellent.  His Vetiver is the best I've tried.  Simple, pure, earthy Vetiver without the clutter of other notes.

I agree , Mike’s was my first soap I settled into after years of trying new things. Lavender is my favorite of the lineup but I also enjoy coconut , barbershop, and at times I mix the lime and orange soaps together. His shampoo bars and bath bars are also nice

Mike is the yardstick by which I judge other soaps... a lot don't measure up.

One of my favourites is his Orange, Cedarwood & Black Pepper - sounds odd but smells great Smile

The “Original G” when it comes to artisan soaps.

No gimmicks. No contests. Just great soap year after year.

His shampoo bars are the best I’ve tried, as well.

I just (last week) received Hungarian Lavender, my first Mike's soap. I'll be using it starting this weekend and I look forward to it. The scent is fantastic, I kept opening the tin when it was on my desk.

I need to go back to Mike's and check it out again.  Orange Cedar Black Pepper and Lemongrass were my favorite scents.  I was put off due to lack of availability though...whenever I checked in to buy some more, the ones I wanted were out of stock!  I'll try again.

I just consider Mike’s to operate on “Island Time”. Whatever is available on the day I show up, is what’s available. Speaking of, your two favorites (OC&BP & L&E) are currently available

Would love to try some, but i have to get from USA to Denmark, the prices are just too high then, last time i did order some Barrister and mann, i almost ended up paying 50$ pr soap, because of the danish stupid import tax.

I have been looking to place an order direct but not everything shown as in stock is at checkout.

I will check back. I've got a couple of backups and am not really out. Eventually want to try the pine and cedarwood though.

Mike's is simply amazing. I've tried nearly all the new artisan soaps that have come out in recent years, and I think to myself, "why?" The only one other artisan soap I've found to be as good as Mike's is CRSW. As an artisan, if you're thinking about making shaving soaps, unless you come out with a product that is equal to performance as Mike's there is no point in trying. The market is too saturated now.
