If you could ask any brush manufacturer , artisan or not , using any materials from the past or present , what would your ideal brush be? For me it would be a jade Rooney XL with the heritage 3 band hair.

Something like the Omega 'shower hog' rubber for the handle. So I wouldn't have to worry about it getting dropped or being wet too long. In a shape of a Rubberset 400 with the fluted end for grip. With a Shavemac D01 two band in a fan. Maybe 26mm by 50mm.

Recently, I had Brad Sears make me an original-style Alibaba in antique ivory which Lee Sabini stuffed with his 3-band silvertip.  None better in my book.

Wood handle with vintage Plisson HMW 3 band hair and/or an untreated silver tip with well sorted hair before forming the know. No glue bumps would be ideal.

I have a few "ideal" brushes in my collection and while I believe there will be more to come, there are none that I can think of off the top of my head.

I've always had a thing for the old ever ready brushes (black/green black/red and black/amber).  Paladin came out with the "Buck Rogers" which I have and love.  But would love to see some 2-tone models come out.

I'm a big fan of Paladin ( knots and handles), the following brushes are ideal ( to me)!

Two pieces of unobtainium Jorge!  The handle on the left is very nice.
