For anyone curious, in the last picture, those are glue marks from GSB blades on the OC baseplate. These razors do not have scratches and have never been dropped.

Quick question... I’m using a standard gap (,68) Wolfman now. How much more aggressive is the .95? I have kinda sensitive skin so not sure if I should just stick w the .68

I have never shaved with a wolfman razor so I couldn't help you with the comparison. I thought I had sensitive skin till I tried DE razors that hold the blade very rigid. The .95 Timeless and the .68 Timeless haven't caused irritation since discovering it's optimal angle. With a Polsilver/GSB, I get DFS in 2 passes with .95 and 3 passes with the .68 razor.

Standard gap Wolf is .61, a .95 Timeless is way more aggressive

You are comparing .95 to .95 blade gaps?

Here is my experience

I owned (and still own) a Wolfman standard gap straight bar prior to testing a Timeless.  My predisposition was to try a Timeless to debunk how good it was amidst hyperbole circulating regarding how efficiently yet mildly their 0,95 OC shaved.

With this predisposition AGAINST Timeless, actually tried the razor.

Despite every element of prejudice, the Timeless performed exactly as others had reported. It performed so well, that after a couple shaves, contacted the HQ on a Sunday to leave a voice mail to call back on Monday morning.

To my surprise I received a callback on Sunday afternoon and had an hour long conversation with Matt. The impression of quality was so positive, ordered that week.

My experience is that this is the smoothest razor used to date - smoother than Merkur 34C and Feather AS and most efficient shaver I have used - as good as a straight edge but quicker.

The only downside to the Timeless is it is not as well finished as the Wolfman -there are distinct and apparent areas where the Timeless could be better machine finished. However, under no circumstances could one claim it impacts performance, only that it can’t match the Wolfman obssession with jewellike cosmetique. In fact, suggested to Matt they offer a higher level of finish as an extra cost option and may yet have a local machine shop go over the razor to polish and shine subtle machining marks. As defence, Timeless uses WEDM in making SS razors; did a grad fellowship whilst in business school with center specializing in this technology and it is not cheap - probably why when combined with unique design elements it exhibits such seemingly paradoxical characteristics.

I have zero financial interest in any shaving business; simply reporting my experience with an especially tough beard and very sensitive skin. A question was asked concerning specific products back to back; I responded honestly as to my experience.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.  The quality and performance of Timeless razors has driven me to sell nearly all of my other DE razors.  Nice deals here, GLWTS!
