Not sure she can make and name enough soaps for all of the “Peachtree .....” that would be the next several years of her life! Smile lol
But wait... there's more.

Come April she could do a Spring Street and for summer a high menthol Lemon Krispy Cream and a wedding special call Marry Eta and a super large size called Houston (House Tun for those who don't speak Alantanese).

Lol! Sounds like you will be the one to be Hannah’s creative director when she needs it someday. Smile

Shaved off a two-day growth this morning (unusual for this daily shaver; had a colonoscopy yesterday [glad that's over with!]).  Chose Hannah's version 7.2 in the Doc's Special Blend scent.

Still loving this soap.  The scent is unique and I really enjoy it.  The last time I shaved I used Mike's Natural.  In comparison, Hannah's soap was still not quite as dense.  However, on the flip side, I think the slickness from Hannah's soap was at least as good, and probably a bit better.  Post-shave face feel was also, surprisingly, about the same to slightly better than what I got with Mike's a couple of days ago.

Hannah's scent I prefer to Mike's (which was the orange, cedarwood, and black pepper).  The OCBP scent of Mike's soap is nice.  Hannah's makes me smile more.  :-)

Hannah completed her updated version made with 75% castor oil/ 25% coconut oil in place of solely using Coconut Oil in her Tallow first recipe and the results after two Shaves are pretty outstanding. She is well on her way these days .... very proud of her and sticking with her project and also evolving her soap making skills and recipes!

Nice. I'm still enjoying the version 7.2.  These soaps are in my regular rotation and are holding their own.

If anyone in the UK wants to get into testing these soaps, I can pass on what's left of my batches.  Jason was extremely generous with the soap "samples" (I use the term loosely).  I cut each block in half and pressed half into identical tubs for testing.  As it is, I have several months worth of shaves from what I used.  The rest is sitting in the ziploc baggies unused.
I'm finishing up my notes to send to Jason (& Hannah).  There were some clear winners in the batches.  Hannah has a winning formula in two of them. Wink

I've since had a chance to try out a newer formulation (7.4, for those keeping score).  This version has more castor oil and less coconut oil, has more glycerin, and also has shea butter.  I can report, after three shaves with it, that it is an improvement over the version 7.0, which was already a pretty good soap.

The lather on this version is creamier and more stable.  I have used it with a DE, with an SE, and also with a Feather SS kamisori, and it works great for all formats.

Great offer.  Somebody should jump on this.

I have now put Hannah's version 7.4 into my regular rotation with Mike's, CRSW, Stirling, and others, and it fits in very well with said soaps.

Someone did! Smile

Thanks Doc Fisher for the compliment, Hannah is smiling (although with a tad bit of pain, she got braces two days ago), such is the life of a 13 year old! Lol

We have two more samples that we were able to salvage from her last mold if anyone would like to try. It’s peppermint scented and you will get a block of soap about the size of a bar of bath soap.

Blessings!

Jason

Feedback from Hannah’s most recent batch has been overwhelmingly positive regarding the quality of lather cushion, glide, moisturizing and post shave residual slickness and moisturizing. Users have reported equally great results with straights, DE, SE and Feather SE style razors.

I think the one thing about this most recent version that struck me a pretty cool was that Hannah made it a much harder bar/puck of soap and she did this to allow for more uses to the end user instead of making it softer and the end user going through the soap more quickly. I personally cut a bar the size of a bar of ivory soap and have been loading it like crazy and using it for several weeks and I cannot see that I have even made hardly a dent in the size.

This last version stands up against anything I have personally ever used. I’m very excited that not only is Hannah’s Project coming along well and we are both learning a lot about the history of Soap making, the use of soap in Grooming rituals over the centuries and specifically when Soap was first believed to be used for shaving - but she has also developed a Shave Soap base that is fantastic!
