I've been using my soaps for years now and I tend to use Frostbite during the warmer months and The Acadian Spice during the colder months. I have a cabinet full of soaps, many quite expensive, and they just don't get used.

I have a sliding bin under my sink with way too many soaps and creams.  Every shave is an adventure but I do seem to go for citrus soaps in the summer and spicy creams in the winter.

Whatever my nose chooses will get attention. If I'm in need of a scent for a pick me up I use something light, bright, and polite. If I'm in need of something that provides a more intimate atmosphere I would choose something warm, cozy and unimposing. The nose never lies.

I love this idea because I am always thinking about if I could only have a few soaps what would they be because I have so many that I just don't ever see myself using/buying again, and it makes me want to figure out how to consolidate into 'must haves'.

Winter: Dr Harris Marlborough
Spring: B&M Seville (I can't think of what I would put here because where I live we don't really have a spring so I use summer scents)
Summer: Stirling Island Man
Fall: B&M Hallows

@shaveser (I don't want to steal your idea) you should do one of these for aftershaves because I feel like that would be even harder of a choice!

If I have to choose amongst what's in my den, currently, this would be my choices:

 - Spring: Eufros Edén (Foroafeitado 2017 LE)
 - Summer: Stirling Gin&Tonic Menthol
 - Fall: L&L (Declaration) Grooming Darkfall
 - Winter: Wholly Kaw Dark Vetiver.

Feel free to start up a thread on AS by season, my friend. It’s a good idea!

I make my own shave soaps and I just use whatever I am in the mood for.  I do have a peppermint vanilla Shea Butter soap that I especially like in the winter.
